Moving Product

 

My first official writing job was as an Email Copywriter in the Email Marketing department of QVC. It was a really interesting time. The internet, online shopping, and email marketing were very young, and it was fascinating to experience the changes we had to make over the years - from writing long, direct-mail-letter-type content, to short, catchy copy designed to make the quick pitch and highlight the benefits of the products.

 

For me, it was a creative challenge to write for so many types of products - fashion, jewelry, cooking, electronics, and so on. Take a look at my samples and tell me you don't want to buy a sapphire ring when you're done. I dare you!
