You Need Our Stuff!

 

Before I worked for a hospital system, I just thought you picked a doctor based on whatever your insurance recommended. That's true to a certain extent, but there really is more choice nowadays. Insurance companies are making deals with providers, and those healthcare organizations need to compete for your business more than ever. My job at Jefferson Health - Northeast (formerly Aria Health) is to provide the information and unique selling position necessary to convince patients to choose us when searching for providers in their networks. It's not as exciting as it sounds, but in a way, I feel like I'm advocating for patients by providing the information they need to make the right choices.
